Jenny spent decades in an emotionally abusive relationship. She is finally free to start a new life. She moves to the Smoky Mountains, her place of healing, to start over and figure out why an intelligent woman would put up with all she has experienced. With the help of a dear friend, a therapist, and a caring community she embarks on a journey of healing and self-discovery. That journey leaves Jenny on the horns of a dilemma. Should she use the lessons she has learned about healthy love and relationships to make herself vulnerable and open to love again? Or should she use her memories of the past as a blinking stop light when her feelings begin to go beyond the boundaries she had set for herself? Helping a young woman get out of an abusive relationship helps Jenny to clarify her thoughts. Will she take a chance again or choose to live her life alone and safe from hurt?
