Five friends from the Brenham-Bellville area of Texas joined together on Friday nights in one of their barns that had a room built for the sole purpose of playing the friendly games of poker. One of the five is also a dedicated boat fisherman in the area rivers and lakes; and usually not alone. He is found drowned near the dam of one of those rivers. Local authorities deemed his death as drowning and wrote it off as an accident. After his four remaining poker pals inspect his boat, they find that ain't so. Authorities don't buy their act, so they start a somewhat investigation of their own.
