Forty-four floors above the city, Devin has an entire office floor to himself. It should be quiet. Instead, his friends keep arriving with problems that grow stranger, darker, and more dangerous by the minute.

Russ has just realized that everyone is going to die. Todd has lost his job, his marriage, and perhaps his grip on reality. Carl has an explanation for everything, and remorse for nothing. As an argument about death, God, memory, and the meaning of life spirals out of control, one terrifying question remains:
