Irenaeus Against Heresies V1 is a Christian theological text written by the early Church Father Irenaeus, originally in Greek in the 2nd century AD. The book is a detailed refutation of various heresies that were prevalent in Irenaeus' time, including Gnosticism and Marcionism. Irenaeus argues that these heresies distort the true teachings of Jesus Christ and the apostles, and he provides extensive scriptural evidence to support his arguments. The book is divided into five books, with the first book focusing on the Gnostic heresies and the remaining four books addressing other heresies. Irenaeus' work is considered an important contribution to early Christian theology and is still studied and referenced by scholars today. They further maintain that the passion which took place in the case of the twelfth AEon is pointed at by the apostasy of Judas, who was the twelfth apostle, and also by the fact that Christ suffered in the twelfth month. For their opinion is, that He continued to preach for one year only after His baptism. The same thing is also most clearly indicated by the case of the woman who suffered from an issue of blood. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
