Adan, Julie's boyfriend, helps her in the fight to convince their school to appreciate that with inclusion of all people, with their differences and talents, the world is a better place. They share friendship, respect and passion, and they hope it's enough to weather the storms that being magic brings. Their young love blooms in the process, but Adan's graduation is getting closer, and he knows he'll have to leave her on her own to finish her senior year.
