Il Râja Yoga sostiene che ogni uomo è soltanto un canale per l' infinito oceano di conoscenza e di forza che sta dietro l'umanità . Insegna che desideri e necessità sono presenti nell'uomo così come la forza per realizzarli e che, laddove e ogni volta viene realizzato un desiderio, un bisogno, una preghiera, il mezzo per esaudirli deriva da questo deposito infinito e non da un essere soprannaturale.
