In un tempo in cui molte parole vengono svuotate del loro significato, il libro riafferma che il titolo cavalleresco non è ornamento, ma impegno; non è privilegio esteriore, ma responsabilità morale; non è memoria decorativa, ma promessa da rinnovare con le opere.
