The intuition of knowledge, neglected by science and misunderstood by philosophers, remains alive. It is a key to unlocking the secrets of reality. Intuiting the presence of others is the ground of all thought, the basis of everything seen and created. It is the beginning of relations between knowledge and the known. It is other subjects who are intuited. Who are they? Intuition does not identify them, though it is used for identification. The attributes identified by subjects are intuitions of them, ideas forming selves and concepts, some of whom are subjects with bodies of conception rather than flesh and blood, of selves such as God, power, being, every commonly known idea. Other subjects are at home or next door, running the government or at work. Intuition does not distinguish concept from neighbor, but it enables the distinctions.

Dr. Albaugh's series, entitled Epistemology, currently lists six volumes. Intuition is volume number six. He is an independent philosopher, living in Des Moines with his wife, Lynda, and their animals. They have four children. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy and taught philosophy for many years.
