This book provides a new perspective of our planet and human development from an alien viewpoint. A morally and intellectually advanced species arrives, preventing hostile takeovers from other aliens, and reviews human development to decide which species can best preserve and enhance the planet.
Humans have become detached from the Earth. Business, finance, and economics are concepts that have made Humans disconnected from Earth's land, sea, atmosphere, and life forms. Humans show a profit with no accounting for the destruction of resources. Why the lack of happiness and fulfillment? Why do children easily play with foreigners but grow up with prejudice even without ever meeting the other side?

Species 1000 gives humans an intellectual chance for redemption. Failing this is a fighting chance, with one-on-one combat against aliens in strange planetary settings.
Humans can use all the capabilities of Earth's creatures to enhance their combatants. These human fighters become extreme fighting machines after major surgery. Intelligence is key in analyzing the weakness of other life forms. Training in massive gyms takes place against rhinos, elephants, lions, giant crocodiles, and robots.
Earth loses its first several battles. Hawaii is taken over by aliens. Then Australia is lost. Humans watch as aliens enjoy and enhance our continents.
Drastic measures are taken on Earth - population control and severe environmental restrictions.
Battles occur on strange planets: some have rain falling like daggers and bricks, others on twin planets where the combatants can jump between the two small planets. Battles on gas planets. Battle under extreme gravity against pool like creatures. Strange off-planet settings show how fortunate we are on Earth.
Earth's combatants endure extreme surgery, including a third rear eye, taken from a young boy who willingly offers it but then becomes totally blind.
Earth's H33 combatant begins to win. Earth's nations pull together, led by a young leader pushing for drastic change.
Elizabeth's PHD work on stress training is used on H33 to enhance his ability to deal with extreme mental challenges.
H33 has 4 wins, allowing Earth to occupy another planet. Planetary options are presented from a menu - choices are not appealing.
The Alien 1000 leader, Sam, gives us a perspective on their species' evolution and on an even more advanced species that gave up all to live on the edge of the growing universe.
The human race shows promise only when pushed to the brink, but will they be granted indigenous rights to continue? What steps will the Alien species 1000 take to preserve Earth?
