Mary and Richard live in a rural area in south central Pennsylvania. Mary is a retired elementary school teacher of 27+ years and Richard is a retired maintenance manager for a machining company. Mary has always enjoyed writing and has published teaching articles in several magazines. It has been her lifelong dream to write and publish a children's book and so she has used Richard's talents to complete the book with illustrations and some of the many photographs he has taken over the 45 years that they have been married. They have two adult children, two grandchildren and enjoy reading, gardening, and camping.
