Not many folk claim to have mastered parenting, but I do. Reflecting on my years as a single parent, I share with readers the strategies that I used to rear successful children. Why? I share portions of my story so that today's parents can glean some of the insight and grit necessary for rearing children they will like as adults. The media constantly highlights families in crisis with one or more parents making poor choices that negatively impact the lives of children.
