I Hope She Reads This is a poignant collection of poems that delve deep into the emotional landscape of its author, Titus Peoples, during the tumultuous times of the 2020 quarantine. This book stands as a testament to the power of introspection, creativity, and the therapeutic process, offering readers a window into the soul of someone grappling with the complexities of love, loss, and self-discovery against the backdrop of global uncertainty.

Titus Peoples harnesses the isolation and introspection brought on by the quarantine as a catalyst for creativity and healing. The enforced solitude becomes a double-edged sword, cutting into the fabric of his daily life while simultaneously opening up a wellspring of emotional and artistic exploration. Each poem in the collection is not just a piece of writing but a fragment of a conversation-both with the self and with the unseen other, the she who becomes both muse and mystery throughout the pages.

I Hope She Reads This is more than just a book of poems; it is a journey through the heart of darkness and back into the light. Titus Peoples invites us to walk with him through his most vulnerable moments, offering a beacon of hope to those who might feel lost in their quarantines of the soul. It is a reminder that even in our isolation, we are not alone and that the act of creation can be a powerful form of connection and healing.
