Grandma, do you have a story about...? Yes. Grandma Celestia has a story for that.
This book is a collection of true accounts from the author's life, gathered especially for her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who want to know more about their own roots, and what Grandma has to say about practically any subject.
This book is a collection of true accounts from the author's life, gathered especially for her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who want to know more about their own roots, and what Grandma has to say about practically any subject.
Ask her a question; she has a story for that. Forgiving, loving, facing down your fears. making mistakes, giving service, teenage brains (not all there), teaching kids to sit through church, seeing the funny side of things. She'll tell about the importance of grieving; listening and heeding promptings of the Spirit; responding when teens make serious mistakes.
Grandma Celestia has an eidetic memory, which means she remembers in clarity and detail things she's experienced in her seventy-seven years of living. She was born in Utah, raised in the Alaskan wilderness, married the Idaho Boy Scout she wrote to for six years. She's a professional teacher, artist, and writer who has studied at four different universities. She raised twelve extraordinary sons and daughters and wrote and published ten books. She's has been widowed twice, lived through the 64 Alaska Earthquake, experienced floods, fires, debilitating illness, and lived to find the humor in it.
If you need a boost of positivity at a time when negativity is in vogue, common sense and inspiration when the professional cynics get all the press, then this book is for you.
