Book 4: Shattered Prophecies

Valcian and his team must navigate the dangerous politics of the supernatural world to uncover the truth behind the Sygari's motives. Meanwhile, Luna and Ryder are drawn back into the conflict, unable to stay on the sidelines as the world they fought to protect begins to crumble.
The fact that some characters such as Viktor (hybrid Astra's father) had died mid series in the Wolves and Shadows series returned without anyone questioning how is explained in this book, the Sygari have manipulated reality for some time from the shadows.
Now resembling a young 20-22 year old sorens' daughter Aurelia has reached adulthood just as quickly as the other hybrids did. She and Valcian have been almost magnetically pulled to each other since her birth, and their relationship has developed organically into a mutually loving couple just as the elders speculated at her birth. They seem to balance each other, and the relationship is approved of by all and she will join the fight alongside the other hybrids.

As the hybrids grow into their roles, they uncover a hidden world of dark magic and shadowy realms that were sealed away by their ancestors. Kael's healing abilities and Valcian's connection to the earth become instrumental in unlocking the mysteries of this new realm. However, the hybrids face threats from within as a powerful witch coven, led by Sabrina, questions whether the hybrids should have control over such dangerous powers. The coven's secret agenda could either ally them with or against the hybrids, depending on who holds the key to this dark magic. By the end of this book Selene comes out with most of the coven standing behind her in support of the hybrids and the alliance while Sabrina, Talia and some other witches fall to the darkness and become true enemies of the hybrids and their alliance.
