Not much goes on in the small town of Macon, Georgia. But one rape crime at the town's biggest party of all time flips the whole town on its head.
That night, Mark makes an attempt to catch the offender in the middle of the forest, but he is sent flying off a cliff into unconsciousness. From that day forward, Mark swears to himself that he will do whatever it takes to seek revenge on those hurt that night.
Meanwhile, the offender's younger sister, Lilith, rushes to the party, trying to prevent this crime from happening, knowing his deep and dark past. In a last-ditch attempt to preserve her family, already having lost a mother, Lilith spares his life and he runs off into the night. She doesn't know when they will meet again, but when they do, Lilith has to decide who in her life is worth protecting and leaving behind.
How We See The Stars is a contemporary novel in which our two characters, Mark Florentine and Lilith Andrews go through whatever lengths possible, even if that means abandoning family, to do protect those who can't protect themselves.
