An anonymous woman appears at the restaurant back door of a truck stop late at night. She was beaten senseless and hardly vertical, but she still asks for a job. The sheriff and Tom, with Missy's help, embark on an involved plan to corner her husband, arrest him, and free Missy from a self imposed prison. The problem requires she be hidden so deeply no one can find her until the situation can be resolved. A dramatic end to the crisis finally reveals Missy's true identity.
