About the Author


Petra Monteleone's inspiration for this book came from her love of dogs and her own pet, Harley. Harley the Dachshund brings much joy to the Monteleone household. This story is based on the actual events that brought Harley and his pet parents together one cold winter day.


As a new author, Petra hopes that Harley Finds a Home will be the start of many short stories about Harley and his special adventures. Petra, her husband Adam, Harley the Dachshund and his sisters Dash and Dolly, the Beagles reside together in Ulster County, New York.
