Hypocrisy is among the gravest moral and spiritual dangers identified by the Qur'an-yet it is also among the most misunderstood. Often reduced to everyday inconsistency or casually weaponized as an accusation, the Qur'anic concept of nifāq occupies a far more precise, unsettling, and consequential space.
