If an EMP attack or solar flare went off over the United States tomorrow, do you know what you would do to survive?
Few people have an answer to that question, and even fewer understand just how devastating an EMP attack over the United States will be.
If an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) weapon with a pulse of 50,000 volts per meter were to detonate less than 300 miles over the middle of the USA, it would cause the immediate failure of electrical devices, most vehicles, water supplies, and phone and electrical lines.
Within seconds, cars would immediately cease working and crash into one another, causing them to pile up in the streets with countless fatalities and injuries. Airplanes would fall from the sky and crash into the land and cities below them, killing millions in the air instantly and causing mass fires that will engulf the landscape.
Laptops, tablets, and phones would shut off and cease to work. There would be no more internet or cell services. The water will quit coming out of your faucet once what's left in the pipes has been drained out. Supply chains will come to a screeching halt.
People will panic and turn on one another. Once normal and civilized people will suddenly become desperate savages and turn to violence to get what they need. Stores, markets, and restaurants will become looted and stripped bare of all food and supplies within hours. The number of home invasions and burglaries will accelerate.
The United States is now dark, cold, ungovernable, and deprived of power and electricity. Millions will be killed between the car and plane crashes and mass rioting within hours.
The remaining 300+ million people will be left scared, starving, dehydrated, and completely unsure of what to do.
The above scenario I've described won't just be devastating and completely change the way we live...it may be inevitable.
Military and intelligence experts have already arrived at the conclusion that an EMP attack would be the most devastating type of attack that America's enemies could make against it. It would take over a decade to recover from an EMP attack on a nationwide scale, and in that time, over 90% of America's population could be killed.
Nations such as China and Russia have already developed EMP weapons with first-strike capabilities that could completely melt America's grid if launched successfully. There's also strong speculation that countries and organizations such as Iran, North Korea, and certain terrorist groups may have developed such weapons as well.
Am I saying that an EMP attack is an absolute certainty to happen?
No, and no one can predict the future. But I am saying that it is a very real possibility. And for that reason alone, I believe it's very important that you take action to become prepared.
