It's 2035 and climate change is wreaking havoc. The warming of the waters brought all the things expected, except for one-monsters. He is determined to travel north to hook up with an old Marine Corps buddy, not seen for years. Harry is reluctant to leave all he knows, but there is no resisting his tenacious patriarch.
Sergeant Harold's imprudent decision will open a Pandora's box of lethal encounters that will test the mettle of the two monster slayers, ultimately propelling one of them out into a world turned upside down to become that proverbial stranger in a strange land.
