Rebels whispered of him as the First Timekeeper, yet Joshua learned he was not the only traveler. Another walked the spiral - darker, colder, and bent on rewriting history.
In The Hidden Hour, Joshua returned to 1955, where chrome diners and jukeboxes hid a government project fueled by fractures of time. With the reluctant genius Dr. Alan Reeves, Joshua uncovered the truth: the Other Traveler was feeding secrets to the past, planting the roots of the dystopia to come. The two Joshuas clashed in a collapsing bunker, the continuum nearly shattering before Reeves' sacrifice held it together.
But stability never lasts.
Now, in The Butterfly Rift, Joshua's machine falters. Each leap scatters him into fragments of himself, torn between eras: the roar of the Colosseum in Rome, the shadows of medieval castles, the jazz-soaked nights of the 1920s. Each fragment grows shorter, sharper, more dangerous. The continuum is unraveling, a paradox widening like a wound.
Joshua begins to realize that the greatest threat is no longer the Other Traveler alone - it is the rift itself, born from every fracture, every interference, every choice made across the spiral.
