Qwayshaud Draymore is a detective and a father, who appears to be in a happy marriage with his wife, Dominique. He was born and raised in Crestview. He is from a wealthy family who failed to love him as a child. Their love for money and obsession with status drove his first love away, who gave birth to his first child. He was 18 years old, trying to figure out how to be a father to a baby he couldn't see every day while trying to erase the thought of his first love.

He meets Dominique at a party and convinces himself that she should be there. Qwayshaud later learns the truth about Dominique, but she is also pregnant with his second child.

Qwayshaud does what he has to do to take care of his children, even if it means pretending to live the life his parents want him to live until he moves up within the Crestview Police Department to take care of himself. He may not be living off his family's money anymore, but he is still pretending for the sake of his son, Lil Q. Feelings about his past life keep him in a relationship with Dominique that he does not desire to be in.

Qwayshaud has been keeping a secret from his family and the residents of Crestview. His oldest child, Qeyara, comes to visit and sees the secret her little brother told her about. Dominique has a stronger love for liquor than she had for money when she first met Qwayshaud. Qeyara tells her mother about seeing Dominique drunk. The one state her mother tried to keep her from seeing her father in.

Qeyara wants to move back to Crestview out of worry for her brother and father. Although her mother does not want to return to the place of hurt, she does for her daughter.

Qwayshaud's first love returns to Crestview, trying to maintain her feelings for him. When she learns the ultimate truth, will she be able to contain those feelings? She has told herself she would not deal with gluttony. Will she? She refuses to come second to drinking habits and the family fortune. Will she ever come first?

Qwayshaud believed he would never face gluttony again. He was already dealing with it with Dominique. Once the light of hope dims for him and his first love, will he return to drinking more than Henny, or will he keep his feelings on tha Rox?
