After a bad break-up with her latest loser boyfriend, Tommy, small town girl Zoe Miller has decided she's done. An attempted robbery of one of the churches, and then Zoe's house say things around the church are definitely not what they should be. Just then, a natural disaster hits the town. Alexis is injured and comes to stay with Zoe while she recovers. Alexis says sparks are flying between Zoe and Jack. Zoe finds this ridiculous; she says he's not so bad, not she wants him. However, she does find herself comparing Jack's handy man skills to Tommy's lack thereof. The ugly stick didn't exactly hit Jack either. Zoe notices how nice it is to have Alexis around and how happy she is with James. Is this Zoe's sign? Maybe she doesn't want the solitary life after all? Suddenly Zoe doesn't recognize herself anymore, and she begins to question her entire belief system. God must be punishing her.
