Meet Harold the dachshund, the really long dog with a very big heart. In this lovable dog book for kids, author Janice Witt introduces us to her best friend Harold when he was only a few weeks old. This is the perfect bedtime story book for young children ages 3-5 and a great reader for kids ages 6-8. Complete with fun illustrations and a FREE audio download where you can listen to the author narrate the story. Dog books for children of all ages, or any books about dogs for that matter, are generally a great way to introduce kids to the world dog ownership, dog training, and a general love for dogs (the most popular pet). At only 8 weeks old, Harold finds himself in a brand new home. Missing his Mommy and confused by his new surroundings, at one point Harold mistakenly thinks he's a horse. Join the Dachshund Harold as he learns what it means to be a puppy. Join Harold's new human Mommy as she learns what's important when caring for a young puppy.
