Gordon England grew up in North Dallas at the brink of a cultural revolution in the 60s. This collection of 15 stories relives his early years from youth through teenager as a wrestler, acrobat, and motorcycle racer in a jock's world of rebellion and fun. Smaller than most boys, he lives for adrenaline rushes as he strives to be faster, smarter, and better than his competitors. Gordon also spent time on family ranches learning to ride horses, make steers from bulls, and survive snake bites. His family took him to historical German dance halls where he reluctantly learned to country dance. In one episode he explored woods at night and watches coyotes howl at the moon. Narrowly surviving danger and harrowing escapades, he survives through entertaining stories with more than his share of fun. Starting into college, he struggles with his biggest decision of what to be when he grows up.
