Daniel Forde is a 14 year old super genius in mathematics and science. He is big for his age causing others to believe that he is considerably older than his birthdate would indicate. His university has tested his IQ without his approval or that of his guardians, thus becoming the target for a wealthy criminal who would kidnap and enslave him for his mental talents and capabilities. A friendly judge who suspects the presence of this criminal realizes that Daniel is exposed and helps to hide Daniel and his guardians. The judge brings together a diverse but very smart group to counter the threat and they move into a lodge at Greene Mountain near Juneau, Alaska to attempt a counter to the threat which soon is found to be real. Daniel's ability to transform mathematical calculations into practical working invention proves to be just the tool needed for the survival of the entire group. Along the way, others in the group are found to be talented in ways that aid in their offensive efforts to avoid and counter the criminal and his intentions. They soon discover that they have some abilities that can be applied for the greater good of all mankind provided they can avoid public attention, no easy task. Assistance arrives from an unlikely and unexpected source that dates to 2500 BC.
