After a failed attempt to kidnap Kenny, Vincent orders drones to search Conner's farm watching and waiting for Irah to return. This ended with Vincent being shot down; this time for good. Jessie shot her uncle defending Irah.
After Mathis leads Avery to a hidden room in Celina's old house, they find a paper trail Vincent had left behind. They boxed up enough proof and take it to Terry Montana to place in the trailer where Vincent had been staying. They run into Karen, Piper and George.
Once again, Irah flees Montana with Jessie and his sons. This time they were bringing two Canadians with them. Mathis Algiers and his nephew Avery Powell, who had gotten drawn into this nightmare. But, Avery had been on a mission for a long time. Years, to be precise. He loved Celina and never stopped looking for her.
Their flight takes them to Lawton, Oklahoma where they believe they will be safe. But, soon find out they had been followed. Nelson Pedersen brings help down from Canada trying to seek vengeance against Irah. He holds him responsible for the death of his father. They plan on kidnapping one of his son's to draw him out.
After Piper finds out they have been followed, to escape abduction, they seek refuge on the military base, where Beau is able to convince the Major to allow them all to use a barrack for a week of basic training under the ruse to be collecting money for the DAV.
Avery ends up falling in-love with Becky. Mathis falls for her mother, Doris. This leads them into a confrontation with Becky's ex-husband Bill, as he tries to ensure his son's safety.
