Furlough starts to open back up after having numerous problems to overcome after the burning of the planet. Ghosts are found again. This time, somehow a young boy survived. These new ghosts lead Tennis, Drew and Rogue to finding bodies encased in a clear gel. It was proven to be a mixture of the moss and the water found in the caves where some people had hidden to try to get away from the moss and the fires. Once the moss was rinsed off in these cave ponds, it formed a clear life sustaining gel that preserved them. Because it has been nearly twenty years since the fires, the other survivors have already moved on. This creates a problem in resurrecting these ghosts. They all have new families. To keep from tearing up so many lives, Nayr orders them to start sending all these new bodies to Qualarmiji to be revived. There were no survivors sent there to begin with. Therefore, they would never be able to accidentally run into a past family member. And Nayr believed that this way, if an earlier refugee did not want to disrupt his currant life for his old one, he would not be forced to subject his new family to this. The newly revived would be allowed to believe that their loved ones were dead, which would make them free to move on. Because now their wives and children were being brought back just as they remembered them; twenty years younger than they were now. In some cases, the children saved earlier were now older than their siblings. Young women who had went to hide in the caves were their children were now twenty years younger than the man they once married, and who now had a wife old enough to be their mother. Some are reunited with twenty year old pain. Some are brought back not knowing that time had already passed. This humorous love story will warm your heart.
