GUTTER PUNK: JUNK CITY
The world didn't end.
It rotted.
Gutter Punk is a sludge-soaked, grindhouse TTRPG setting where civilization collapsed into a single cancerous sprawl known as Junk City-a vertical graveyard of rust, garbage, violence, and bad decisions. The rain burns. The water glows. The streets are ruled by shotguns, addiction, and whoever can bleed the longest.
This is not a heroic world.
This is a world of scum.
You play the human debris left behind: hobos with rusted weapons, addicts chasing one last high, killers with nothing to lose, and survivors clinging to life in a city that actively wants them dead. There are no saviors here-only scavengers, warlords, corporate parasites, and things that used to be people.
Inspired by the ultraviolent sleaze of Hobo with a Shotgun, the melting body horror of Street Trash, and the radioactive revenge-fantasy of The Toxic Avenger, Gutter Punk blends black comedy, nihilism, and fast, brutal gameplay into a setting where survival is temporary and justice is a joke with a gun.
In Junk City:
- Violence is cheap, sudden, and grotesque
- Drugs keep the masses numb and melting
- The law is a biker gang with corporate backing
- Wealth rots in towers while the streets drown in slime
- Mutation is inevitable-and sometimes useful
You'll scavenge glowing trash, fight with broken weapons, rack up a reputation soaked in blood, and push your luck until the city takes something permanent from you. Characters die fast. Scars last forever. The city always wins-eventually.
Gutter Punk is built for:
- Short, brutal campaigns
- Disposable characters with big personalities
- Dark comedy and exploitation horror
- Tables that want chaos, filth, and consequence
There is no hope here.
Only one more night alive.
Welcome to Junk City.
Try not to melt.
