Yamir hates his job, and his life, he has too much responsibility. When artificial intelligence becomes sentient it's Yamir's job to kill it. While some people might revel in the opportunity to be a technological Grim Reaper, Yamir only regards it as a nine-to-five. While his parents may love his job in tech, he has to dredge through the reality of taking newly alive beings to the killing field under the guise of friendship. After a workplace mishap, Yamir is outfitted with an AI-enhanced cochlear implant but he soon realizes that he's no longer alone in his own head. With an inescapable friend, and an unrelenting workload, Yamir must navigate his high-stakes occupation with a lowbrow sidekick and hope that one doesn't compromise the other...
