Discover Day Three of Creation on a Fun, Faith-Filled Backyard Adventure!
Help your little ones build a steady foundation of faith with When the Dry Ground Came Up, the third book in the heartwarming 12-book Grandpa Noah's Backyard Christian coloring series. Specially designed for children ages 3 to 7, this book turns a simple morning in the garden into an unforgettable lesson about God's magnificent creation.
In this installment, join young Lily, Sam, and their playful puppy, Pip, as Grandpa Noah takes them on a backyard exploration of dirt, rocks, roots, and hills. Through gentle, rhyming stories and beautifully simplified, easy-to-read Bible verses, children will discover how God gathered the waters together to make the steady, solid dry ground appear.
Why Parents, Grandparents, and Sunday School Teachers Love This Book:
- Faith-Based Learning Made Simple: Introduces young minds to the foundational biblical truths of Day Three of creation week (Genesis 1:9-10) in a fun, accessible way.
- Engaging Storytelling: Features cheerful, memorable rhymes paired with paraphrased scripture verses that are perfect for early memorization.
- Interactive Activity Pages: Goes far beyond standard coloring! Packed with bonus activities including trace-and-write handwriting practice (God Is Good, Jesus Loves Me), a connect-the-dots puzzle, a maze, a hidden-crosses game, and a custom drawing frame.
- Grown-Up Reflection Page: Includes a dedicated Big Idea section for parents to read with or after their child, answering common questions about creation, the Flood, and why God's word is forever sure.
- Keepsake Certificate: Includes a beautiful Certificate of Completion at the end of the book to celebrate your child's learning milestone.
Whether you are looking for a meaningful rainy-day activity, a wholesome homeschool supplement, or a Christ-centered gift for a special child in your life, Grandpa Noah's Backyard is the perfect way to combine creativity with a deep love for the Maker.
