Die Enzyklopädie des Sports befasst sich in dieser Ausgabe mit den Weltmeisterschaften im Motorsport in der Formel 1. Seit 1950 wird der weltbeste Fahrer gesucht der pro Saison eine Vielzahl von Rennläufen absolvieren muss. Ab 1958 wird auch das erfolgreichste Konstrukteursteam ausgezeichnet. In den vergangenen 26 Jahren fanden in 32 Ländern Rennen statt. Für dieses Buch wurden alle Automobilstrecken mit den jeweiligen Rennen in einem Werk zusammengetragen. Aufgeführt sind die kompletten Statistiken der einzelnen Sieger seit dem Beginn 1950 in Silverstone/Gro britannien.
Eine besondere Berücksichtigung fand der deutschsprachige Raum. Es werden alle Rennfahrer dokumentiert, die für die einzelnen Rennen gemeldet hatten und die aus Deutschland, Österreich, Liechtenstein und der Schweiz stammen.
Als Zugabe sind in jedem Buch Videocodes abgedruckt, die auf Renn-Highlights verweisen und somit ein lebendiges Zeitzeugnis der Formel-1-Geschichte darstellen. In rund 275 Videos werden Formel-1-Legenden erlebbar, aber auch trgische Momente des Rennsports.
ENG: The books are intended to give a comprehensive statistical overall look of each title theme. They are to be understood as a complement to the individual publications that appear on a variety of sporting events worldwide. Therefore there are no classic image / reading books like these always come in great numbers, for example, after completion of the Formula 1 World Championship. In the Encyclopedia of Sports, the focus is on the coverage of the respective sporting events. An introduction of the historical reference and, of course, the basic facts are presented to the competitions. Its most important is the combination of text and moving images. With the aid of the technical options, as they are nowadays used by almost every one of us - Computer, Laptop, Tablet, Smartphone - can be created in the past, simply recaps, without the user must strive even consuming it. For the sports fans, it is an exciting addition to complete its bibliographic collection, or simply to go into a journey through time to the historical highlights of the respective book theme. The books are written in German, but can be represented by the simplicity of the statistical structures that look largely identical in all countries, easily grasp even of foreign readers.
