Through translations of Bertolt Brecht's poetry, the book contributes to making his work even better known in Poland and, moreover, fills a research gap. Through analyses underpinned by literary and linguistic studies, which are partly based on digitally oriented translation studies, Brecht's poetry is made appropriately receptive for the modern Digital Age. This is nothing other than a consistent implementation and continuation of Brecht's own ideas and intentions, who, more than almost any other of his contemporaries, consistently made use of the new media of the time and even developed his own media theory. The basis for the new translations of Bertolt Brecht's works is the concept of the optimal translation model by Piotr Sulikowski.
