Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Ethnologie / Volkskunde, Note: 1,3, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Präsentation befasst sich mit der zunehmenden Vermenschlichung von (Haus-) Tieren. Sie bietet einen historischen Überblick über die Mensch-Tier Beziehung und betrachtet die gegenwärtige Entwicklung der Antropomorphisierung kritisch. Da Tiere ähnliche emotionale Grundbedürfnisse haben, kommt es häufig vor, dass Tierbesitzer eine sog. Du-Beziehung, insbesondere mit sozialen Tieren, führen. Tiere werden als Individuum, das hei t als Du wahrgenommen und respektiert. Dieses Gefühl der Partnerschaft entsteht dadurch, dass Tiere in ihrer Körpersprache und Ausdrucksformen mit dem Menschen vergleichbar sind. Betrachtet man die Antropomorphisierung heute, so lässt sich eine deutliche Vermenschlichung von Haustieren erkennen. Tiere werden zu vollkommenen Haushaltsmitgliedern - sogar zum Kind- oder Partnerersatz. Sie schlafen auf dem Sofa oder im Bett des Tierbesitzers, bekommen selbst gekochte Speisen serviert und werden eingekleidet.
