The binder is a tactical manual of queer resistance, civic sabotage, old grudges, secret operations, and deeply specific instructions for ruining the weekends of powerful people. It was created by people who understood how power worked in the city - and how to fight it with timing, style, strategy, and just enough chaos to make the evening news.
Unfortunately, the binder has resurfaced at exactly the wrong time.
Brenda Leighton is preparing to take over the city with a campaign built on tradition, values, polished cruelty, and developer money. She smiles like a campaign ad and moves like a threat. When Terrence realizes Brenda is not just another politician but the kind of person the Agenda was designed to stop, he is dragged into a resistance he never meant to join.
Soon, Terrence is surrounded by a crew he did not ask for and may desperately need: Max, a drag king with theatrical instincts and dangerous competence; Dana, who treats demolition as both trade and love language; Jaden, a bartender with gossip networks stronger than city infrastructure; Leo, who weaponizes charm like a blade; Quinn, who can turn music into a felony-adjacent event; and Mothra, Terrence's cat, who judges everyone equally.
Together, they launch operations involving chandeliers, donor memos, secret bars, political humiliation, preservation schemes, attack ads, bad decisions, and the growing realization that the city is worth saving - even if saving it requires becoming a problem.
