What if following one brilliant star could lead you to the greatest gift the world has ever known?
When a radiant star appears in the winter sky, Rebel and Rooster know there is something special about its light. They don't know where it will lead or what they will find, but with faith in their hearts and curiosity guiding their steps, the two friends set off on an unforgettable Christmas journey.
Following the star isn't always easy.
Along the way, Rebel and Rooster meet weary travelers and people who need warmth, encouragement, kindness, and hope. With every encounter, they discover that their journey is about more than reaching a destination. The light they are following is also teaching them how to become a light for others.
A helping hand. A kind word. A generous heart. A moment of compassion.
Each small act makes the road a little brighter.
At last, the brilliant star leads Rebel and Rooster to the little town of Bethlehem and a humble stable unlike any place they expected to find. There, surrounded by shepherds, travelers, and the quiet wonder of a holy night, they discover the newborn Jesus.
Suddenly, everything about their journey makes sense.
The star was not simply leading them to a place. It was leading them to the Light that would bring hope to the world.
Beautifully told in gentle rhyme and filled with warm, colorful illustrations, Follow the Star invites children to experience the wonder of the first Christmas through the eyes of Rebel and Rooster. Their adventure introduces young readers to the Nativity story while sharing timeless lessons about faith, courage, generosity, compassion, and serving others.
Children will discover that Christmas is about much more than presents beneath a tree. Its greatest gifts cannot be wrapped. They are found in the love we give, the kindness we share, and the light we carry into the lives of others.
