This book is a journey through the unthinkable, losing my son, Devyne, and discovering that even death can't silence love.
In the beginning, I'll take you into our world before everything changed. You'll get to know Devyne the way I did, the real him. You'll walk through our imperfect family life, full of love, chaos, mistakes, laughter, and struggle. We weren't polished or spiritual or even particularly healthy back then, we were just human. And that's exactly why this story matters. Because what I've learned is that love doesn't care how broken or messy our lives have been. Our loved ones will find a way to reach us anyway.
Then, we'll move into the darkest part, the shock and pain of Devyne's murder, the grief that nearly swallowed me whole, and the first faint signs that he was still here. You'll see the photos, the synchronicities, and the little miracles that I documented along the way.
From there, things start to shift. You'll walk beside me as I find my people, Helping Parents Heal, and as I have my first life-changing reading with medium Suzanne Giesemann who gave me undeniable proof that my boy was right beside me. You'll even hear from Suzanne Giesemann, a respected medium who helped me understand what was really happening when Devyne broke through Heaven's door.
Later, the story opens into healing and awakening. I'll share how Reiki, quantum energy, and learning about the chakras helped me understand what was happening not just to me, but through me. I'll talk honestly about the overload of information online, the teachers who helped, and how I began to trust my own direct connection.
You'll also see me stumble. Be real, raw and extremely vulnerable. You'll see the alcoholic, the single mom, the woman who fought through generations of trauma and kept showing up. Because that's the truth, this path isn't about perfection. It's about surrender, about believing that if love is real, it can find us in our messiest moments.
By the end of this book, you'll have walked through hell with me and I hope you'll come out lighter, more open, and more connected to your own loved ones on the other side.
This isn't a story about grief and loss. It's a story about what happens after. About how death isn't the end, and how love keeps showing up, again and again, until we finally believe it.
