Freddie's Tail is about a brown tabby cat, Freddie, and his story of rescue from his perspective in his own words. He tells how he was all alone outside and how he came to find his furrever home. Photographs of Freddie throughout the book help share his journey to his furrever home.

Freddie has two sisters, Sammie and Bettinna, who also have their own books and stories of rescue, Sammie's Tail and Bettinna's Tail. Bettinna was rescued from the street two years after Sammie. Freddie joined the family 3 years later.
