Cet ouvrage propose une refondation profonde de la missiologie à la lumière des transformations radicales du monde contemporain. Face à l'épuisement des paradigmes hérités et à la complexité croissante d'un environnement global marqué par l'incertitude, la volatilité et les mutations technologiques, culturelles et anthropologiques, il développe une nouvelle approche: la Missiologie Intégrative, Transdisciplinaire et Transformative (MITT).
En inscrivant explicitement la réflexion missiologique dans le Mode 4 de la production des connaissances, l'ouvrage dépasse les cadres disciplinaires traditionnels pour concevoir la mission chrétienne comme un système complexe adaptatif, où théologie, sciences, culture et spiritualité interagissent de manière dynamique. Cette perspective permet de renouveler la compréhension de la missio Dei en dialogue avec les sciences contemporaines, notamment les neurosciences, la théorie de la complexité, l'économie politique et les humanités numériques.
Le livre introduit également plusieurs champs innovants au sein de la missiologie, parmi lesquels la neuromissiologie, qui explore l'interface entre expérience spirituelle et dynamiques neurocognitives, et la quantomissiologie, qui mobilise de manière heuristique certains concepts de la physique quantique pour penser la mission dans un monde marqué par l'incertitude et l'émergence.
Ainsi, l'ouvrage ne se contente pas de relire les grands paradigmes missiologiques du XXᵉ siècle; il propose une véritable révolution épistémologique et paradigmatique destinée à repositionner la mission chrétienne comme une intelligence transversale capable de dialoguer avec les sciences contemporaines et de contribuer à la transformation du monde.
