Pour La Victoire; Pièce En Un Acte, En Vers, written by Alfred Droin and published in 1917, is a one-act play in verse, composed in French. Likely written and published during World War I, the play, whose title translates to For Victory, reflects the patriotic fervor and wartime sentiments of the era. This dramatic work offers a glimpse into French society and culture during a tumultuous period in European history. Droin's use of verse lends an artistic and heightened quality to the narrative, making it a valuable piece for those interested in French literature and historical dramas.
