Mémoire... Sur La Suppression De La Vénalité Des Offices... examines the historical and political context surrounding the suppression of venality of offices in France. Authored by Auguste Duclos, this work delves into the complexities of public office, political reform, and social policy during a pivotal period in French history.
This volume offers insights into the legal and social ramifications of eliminating the sale of public offices, a practice deeply entrenched in the French administrative system. It appeals to scholars and readers interested in French history, legal history, and the evolution of public governance.
