Authored by Cousin de Contamine, this work celebrates Coustou's life and artistic achievements, providing valuable insights into his contributions to French sculpture during his time. Following the eulogy are detailed and reasoned descriptions of select works of painting and sculpture, offering a broader view of the artistic landscape of the era.
