Fragrance Of A New Dawn was performed during Easter at the Long Beach Alliance Church while I was pastor. It had humor and drama, and powerfully portrayed the effects of the resurrection of Christ on the lives of broken-hearted believers who thought he was dead. I wholeheartedly recommend this play and know it will have a strong spiritual impact on those who see it.

Here is an Easter sunrise one-act and order of service full of impact. Scriptures from Isaiah, John, and Luke lead into the drama. Speaking parts are provided for eleven persons. The drama is in two scenes: the home of Zebedee at 4 a.m. on Easter morning, and later in the morning at the empty tomb. Louis Merryman is the founder/director of Kings Karacters, a touring chancel team in southern California. Several of Merryman's sketches have been used by the Karacters in their concerts of living sermons.
