Each year, since 2019, Earl T. Roske has written a short holiday story about the Hospitaller Orphan Corps. Rather than centering the story on some Earthly holiday, the stories center on a holiday special to the Hospitallers. That holiday is known as Founders' Day.
Founders' Day is a celebration of the day when the seven founders came together and established the first orphanages that would be the seeds of the future Hospitallers. The holiday is marked with recognition of the founders' efforts, often including small presents from dorm parents to orphans and Hospitallers among each other. But if nothing else, there is always a cake.
In the stories included here, celebrating Founders' Day is a challenge that various Hospitaller have to overcome to have the chance to celebrate the day special to all of them.
