Retiring from her popular quartet, Karen Danser heads home to her family's compound on the beach in Central Florida. Scaling the ten foot wall that surrounds the grounds, she discovers a cemetery full of dead of all ages.
Taking out her violin, she begins a wandering, slow jazz melody It isn't long before a few long dead children bravely approach her. When they begin the dance, Karen is inspired to play for the rest of the night. By dawn, there are nine little boys and girls in their grave tattered clothes, smiling and dancing. There is little more natural than dead children enjoying themselves with lively, beautiful music.
