Strike, the sapient machine intelligence of Thunderstrike, is searching for the Vatan sisters. Now he hears rumours that the President has ordered the sisters' assassination. Then Strike receives video of a False Manifesto rally, and he suspects that one of the women there is Merrill Vatan.
As False Manifesto demonstrations are violently disrupted and their members murdered, Strike sends Snap and Bahar to find the woman.
