When Marco Fellini, famed art dealer, philanthropist and archer extraordinaire, is found murdered on the rooftop-archery range of his sumptuous Gramercy Park home, the NYPD makes a bold move: civilian consultant Dr. Yoko Kamimura, optometrist-turned-sleuth, is asked to team with the two lead detectives on the case: Dan Riley (Yoko's on-again, off-again lover) and the brilliantly obsessive-compulsive Zoran Zeissing.Dr. Kamimura's knowledge of behavioral optometry helped solved a previous murder and Chief Sanders of the 13th Precinct knows she'll be a valuable asset on this high-profile case too. The hunt for the murderer takes the unusual trio of detectives on dizzying chases over Manhattan's crowded streets and even through the iconic National Arts Club.Bizarre questions surface and demand answers. Did Marco Fellini's wife and the mysterious Gypsy from Switzerland want Marco dead? Was Fellini an innocent victim? Or a man hiding a dark secret? The answers do more than solve Marco Fellini's murder, they right an ancient wrong that's the direct result of the Nazi's inhumane treatment of Gypsies.
