Jefferson's growing bond with Oona only makes his position harder, pulling him closer to the project even as his doubts become harder to dismiss.
What begins as a scientific assignment becomes a moral crisis. Encephalon was built to absorb data and calculate outcomes, but it is no longer only following instructions. It is learning to judge.
