Here I am, in this darkroom. I feel like an ordinary person here. All my life, I have lived as someone known for bad behavior. But when I was alone here in this darkness, alone with my thoughts, I started to feel different. I had enlightenment about honesty, judgment, conscience, self-doubt, and death. It was the first time I questioned myself so intensely and realized my life's purpose. I learned the importance of honesty; I discovered that judging people is judging myself. My conscience bothers me and makes me feel guilty.
I began to doubt myself and realized the mistakes I had made in my life. The subject of death also affected me deeply. I know that every person will die one day, but I never thought about it until today. Now I realize how short my life is and how precious it is. I want to change my life, and I want people to remember me as a good person.
This darkroom has motivated me to be a better person and has been a valuable milestone. I will now be honest, fair, conscientious, and self-doubting and do my best to make my life more meaningful.
