Emendations Of The Authorized Version Of The Old Testament (1839) is a book written by Selig Newman. The book is a detailed analysis and critique of the Authorized Version of the Old Testament, which is also known as the King James Version. Newman presents his argument that the Authorized Version contains many errors and inconsistencies, and he provides a list of suggested corrections and emendations to the text. The book is divided into chapters, each of which focuses on a specific book of the Old Testament. Newman's analysis is based on a thorough examination of the Hebrew text and the various translations and commentaries that were available at the time. The book is an important contribution to the field of biblical studies and is still relevant today for those interested in the history and development of the Old Testament text. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
